It
looks like Cersei has made an addition to the Red Keep, her own map of
Westeros painted on the floor of the castle. All the more better to
stomp on her insufferable people. She assures her brother that even
though they have enemies to the north, south, east and west, they will
prevail. According to the latest edition of Entertainment Weekly, the
producers say that Cersei has thought about the dragons and may have a
plan to defend against them. The only thing I can think of at the moment
that could somehow compare to dragons is wildfire, which is said to be
the closest thing to dragonfire. Surely after the Battle of Blackwater
Bay and her destruction of the Sept of Baelor last season her stores
have been used up.
DANY REACHES WESTEROS

If
you've seen the teaser trailer or any of the pics that HBO released for
season 7, it has been very clear that Dany reaches Westeros. To be
exact she reaches Dragonstone. This is a big deal! Dany hasn't been to
Westeros since she was born on Dragonstone. Her mother died in
childbirth and the King Robert's soldiers were attacking so her brother
Viserys took a newborn Dany and fled to Essos. She has finally reached
the homeland she's dreamed of since she was a child. Dany gets to sit on
the only throne in all of the Seven Kingdoms to rival the iron throne.
Since Dragonstone is the ancestral home of House Targaryen (and where
the heir to the iron throne usually lives until it is his or her time to
rule) it's only logical that they would have a seat befitting a king or
queen. This is where dragons are born and where dragons thrive and many
believe Dragonstone still holds unhatched dragons from the olden days.
Dany and Tyrion make their plans over The Chamber of the Painted Table.
Hopefully it's been cleaned since Melisandre and Stannis used it a few
seasons ago to make that horrible shade she birthed that killed Renly.
MELISANDRE

Melisandre
may also have made it to Dragonstone. Since Jon banished her and told
her to go south she's either gone to find another "prince that was
promised" or has somehow heard of Dany's army landing and is imploring
her to join Jon in the great war to come. Dragons will be especially
useful against those pesky white walkers.
SER DAVOS

Ser
Davos sits by Jon's side as does Sansa. If Jon is King in the North has
he hired Ser Davos to be his Hand? It also sounds as though Jon has
sent Ser Davos on a mission to get the rest of Westeros to wake up and
turn to the war in the north. He tells someone that if they don't start
fighting the real war it won't matter whose skeleton sits on the iron
throne. Give 'em hell Ser Davos!
THE LANNISTER'S ARE ATTACKED
There
are a few theories about the scenes where the Unsullied are attacking
Lannisters. It could be Casterly Rock or Lannisport, which are cities
owned and operated by the Lannisters.
WHERE THE HECK IS JORAH?
It
seems clear from this fleeting scene that Ser Jorah's greyscale has
gotten much worse and is that a prison cell he is in? This dude just
can't catch a break.
THERE'S STILL TIME FOR SEX
Regardless
of the wars upon them, there is still plenty of time for recreational
activities. Besides this scene with Grey Worm and Missandei, we also see
Yara Greyjoy and Ellaria Sand getting very friendly with each other.
JON HEADS NORTH OF THE WALL AGAIN
Pictures courtesy of HBO.
Jon
and Littlefinger get into a scuffle in the crypts of Winterfell. Does
Littlefinger know Jon's true parentage and the secret Ned Stark kept all
those years? Also, Jon heads north of the Wall again as we see the gate
under the Wall go up as well as the scene with Jon, Tormund and others
running and banning in a circle. The producers said there would be an
attack beyond the wall which is basically "a shark attack on dry land."
Which leaves...

...
Sansa alone with Littlefinger whispering in her ear. Sophie Turner has
stated that she is no lamb to Littlefinger's wolf. She knows he is
manipulative and she manipulates him right back. He tells her she is the
last best hope for the war to come.
THAR BE DRAGONS!!! (AND DOTHRAKI)
Finally,
the Dothraki made it across the Narrow Sea and we see a huge battle
with Drogon and Dany flying overhead. This looks like pretty open land,
so I'm not sure it's Kings Landing. They do seem to be making their way
across Westeros though.
Only 44 more days to the premiere, which
means I have a lot of work to do. As well as doing my usual blog I will
be hosting a podcast for season 7. Be on the lookout mid-June for recap
episodes of season 6!
